FC Zurich boss Ludovic Magnin has insisted that tactics ‘won’t be important’ against Napoli but warned ‘we want to go beyond our limits’.

Zurich host Napoli in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie, having qualified from a group that contained Bayer Leverkusen, AEK Larnaca and Ludogorets.

“The important thing tomorrow won’t be tactics,” Magnin said at a Press conference.

“They’re ahead of us in that sense, but we want to go beyond our limits. We’ll play in front of a full stadium, and that can give us an important boost.

“I know the Italian teams. We’ve also studied Napoli. Ours must be a perfect match, like the one against Leverkusen.

“We know we can also beat a great team like Napoli. We’re ready for tomorrow night’s race.

“Who would I take from Napoli? They’re such a strong team that I have difficulty answering, but I’d say probably Koulibaly.

“We hope to be able to keep the result open until the game in Naples next week. I’ve seen a bit of how Ancelotti coaches and it’ll be special for me to coach next to him.

“I think he’s one of the best Coaches in the world. We know that all of Switzerland will be watching us, so we hope to do well for everyone.

“For our young players it’ll be the right opportunity to show their quality. We want to surprise Napoli.”
