Krzysztof Piatek has made history, taking only 310 minutes of competitive football to score his first six Milan goals – with 18 attempts.
The former Genoa man found the net six times in just four starts between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, including this evening’s brace in the 3-1 victory away to Atalanta.
Milan TV point out no striker has ever reached six goals so quickly in a Rossoneri jersey, as he achieved it in just 310 minutes of game time.
That crushes the previous record-holder Gunnar Nordahl, who took 419 minutes.
Mario Balotelli is next on 433 minutes.
Incredibly, Piatek also achieved this with six goals in only 18 attempts, confirming his remarkably clinical finishing.
