“I don’t like the fact people are talking about how weakened Lazio are and the number of injuries they’re dealing with, because we too are missing important players, but I want to see a strong attitude,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
Stefano Sturaro, Oscar Hiljemark, Andrea Favilli, Luca Mazzitelli and Gianluca Lapadula don’t make the trip, while Cristian Romero returns from suspension in defence.
“Lazio are one of the strongest teams in Italy. I want to see Genoa ready to do battle. We are working on many aspects, including set plays, because we have players with the characteristics that can be dangerous in dead ball situations.
“I ask my team to have more self-belief, because we can be very exciting when going forward and have some interesting alternatives to choose from.”
