Alex Sandro has warned Juventus that Atletico Madrid ‘are used to playing games like these and going far in competitions.’
Juve kick off their Champions League last-16 with Atleti on Wednesday, and the left-back was under no illusions as to the threat posed by Diego Simeone’s side, who won the Europa League last season and reached two Champions League Finals in 2014 and 2016.
“We’re reaching the final few months of the season, so we have to stay very focused,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“European games are always different to those in the League. Difficult draw? It would’ve been difficult against any team.
“Atletico are used to playing games like these and going far in competitions. They have good players in every position.
“Both teams will go out on the pitch to win, so it’ll certainly be a great match for those who play and help out.”
