Former Fiorentina defender Tomas Repka has been handed two jail terms, amounting to two years in prison, for drink driving and fraud.

The Associated Press reports the Prague-West county court turned two previous suspended sentences for drink driving into a nine-month jail term ‘because of his convictions for other crimes since receiving the initial terms’.

It comes just two weeks after the 44-year-old was sentenced to 15 months behind bars on fraud charges, while he served community service for a ‘revenge porn’ attack on his ex-wife last year.

Repka [pictured, left] made 128 appearances for Fiorentina between 1998 and 2001, winning a Coppa Italia before joining West Ham United.

He also played 46 times for his native Czech Republic, representing them at Euro 2000.
