Sinisa Mihajlovic can’t believe Bologna emerged empty-handed against Roma and Juventus after dominating for long periods. “The fixture list should be kinder now.”

The Rossoblu wasted numerous opportunities in the last two games and were today beaten by a Paulo Dybala strike.

“We were on a par with Juve throughout in all levels and at times even played better. We showed great spirit, we play good football and try to be positive no matter who we are facing,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We knew that against Juve, Roma and Inter it would be very difficult, but what counts is that we are now going into some fixtures where we are up against sides on our level.

“If we continue this type of performance, determination and focus, then we have a very good chance of winning those games. Obviously, it’s disappointing not to have a single point from two performances where we deserved a lot more, but the fact we played this well against much stronger opponents bodes well for the future.

“We created seven or eight chances against Roma and their goalkeeper did well, which today we had numerous shots off target and Mattia Perin made that save at the end.

“Bologna have improved in many areas, we believe in what we are doing and try to get even stronger. The fixture list should be kinder now.

“I took this job because I saw a few Bologna games and was convinced I could help keep it in Serie A. As every day goes by, I am more and more convinced that I was right. All I ask is for the players to believe as much as I do.”
