Udinese have announced that goalkeepers Alex Meret and Orestis Karnezis have signed for Napoli permanently.

Meret and Karnezis joined Napoli last summer on loan with obligations to buy, and a statement released by Udinese on Tuesday confirmed options to make both deals permanent were exercised on February 1.

The same also applies to Sampdoria and their deal for Jakub Jankto last summer, resulting in the Zebrette posting capital gains of ‘over €40m’.

Calcio e Finanza writes the Partenopei paid around €25m for both shot-stoppers, with Jankto moving to Samp for a fee in the region of €15m.
