Roma’s Champions League opponents FC Porto have officially extended Coach Sergio Conceicao’s contract to June 2021.
This deal adds one more season to the 44-year-old tactician’s previous deal.
He was appointed in the summer of 2017 and has taken Porto to the Champions League Round of 16.
Roma won the first leg 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico and the decider will be in Portugal on Wednesday evening.

“When I speak of my love for FC Porto, it’s something that I really mean, it’s true love and not just words,” said Conceicao.
Club President Jorge Pinto da Costa noted they had made the deal “very quickly when speaking about the future and consistency.”
