Salvatore Sirigu has set a new all-time club record with a sixth consecutive Serie A clean sheet in the Torino goal.

The record had stood since Luciano Castellini went 517 minutes unbeaten in the 1976-77 campaign.

Sirigu performed a smart save from close range on Filip Djordjevic against Chievo today to ensure he kept the clean sheet going, the game eventually ending 3-0 to Torino.

There is technically a longer run from Valero Bacigalupo in 1945-46, who did not concede for 690 minutes of football, but that was not a one-division league.
