“It’s not true that Perisic went to Mauro to complain about my words,” Wanda told Tiki Taka.

Wanda Icardi has expressed her hope that Inter striker Mauro Icardi faces Milan in the Derby della Madonnina but accused his critics of double standards.

Icardi has not played for Inter since being stripped of their captaincy on February 13, although he is officially sidelined with a knee injury.

“It’s not true that Perisic went to Mauro to complain about my words,” Wanda told Tiki Taka.

“He never asked about what I said. Ultimately it’s always Icardi’s fault. If he doesn’t speak it’s not good. If he’s talking it’s a problem.

“He wrote a letter, what else was he supposed to do? I’ve always talked about Inter positively on this show, like when I talked about Lautaro Martinez. Can I not even make any positive suggestions?

“I said that if my presence here at Tiki Taka was a problem then I’d take a step back, but they replied it wasn’t a problem.

“Before he didn’t speak and it wasn’t good, then he wrote a letter and it’s still not good. Without him people said the team were more compact.

“Now that they’ve lost, it’s his fault again? I don’t know if Mauro will play in the derby, but I want him to.”
