Juve: Madrid 'want Zidane back'

Juventus risk missing out on Zinedine Zidane as the Coach has reportedly agreed to return to Real Madrid.

According to El Chiringuito, Madrid’s 4-1 defeat to Ajax on Tuesday has prompted President Florentino Perez to take ‘urgent measures’.

The programme explains the patron called Zidane after the game to offer him the reins for the second time with immediate effect.

The Frenchman would have rejected the opportunity to come back midseason but expressed a willingness to start again with the club next term.

It comes amidst reports that Perez held an emergency meeting after Los Blancos’ period of Champions League domination was ended in emphatic fashion.

Juve, for their part, were thought to have made Zizou their No 1 target to replace Max Allegri.
