“It was a fantastic performance from my team. I have to congratulate each and every one of them for the way they prepared, including with regards to tactics and strategy, with possible alterations in the system,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“I wanted to create chances and win, but most importantly tonight we knew what to do when we didn’t have the ball under our control.”

It was a very brief comment and the former Lazio player left after one question, reportedly due to a personal matter.

This Press conference took place far later than planned and was the only one, because Roma Coach Eusebio Di Francesco refused to speak to the media.

As this was a UEFA tournament, Di Francesco will be fined for not fulfilling his contractual obligations.
