Walter Sabatini, Carlo Osti and Luis Campos are reportedly the primary candidates to replace Monchi at Roma.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Sampdoria pair Sabatini and Osti are at the top of Roma’s list as Monchi looks set to step down as sporting director.
Sabatini only became Samp’s technical director last summer but worked for the Giallorossi between 2011 and 2017.
The 63-year-old is known for bringing the likes of Marquinhos, Erik Lamela, Medhi Benatia, Radja Nainggolan and Mohamed Salah to the Olimpico.
Osti, on the other hand, has been with the Blucerchati since December 2012, establishing them as a Serie A side with a series of shrewd buys.
Sportitalia, meanwhile, believes Campos has emerged as a contender thanks to his work in helping Lille compete for a Champions League place next season.
