Juventus ultras in the Curva Sud exchanged insulting chants with the rest of the Stadium crowd during this evening’s Serie A match with Udinese.

The ultras have been on strike for months in protest at a rise in ticket prices, aggressively shushing anyone who tries to celebrate a goal.

When they did break their silence this evening, it was to make insulting chants towards what they see as ‘fair-weather’ fans in the other areas of the Juventus Stadium.

When they did break their silence this evening, it was to make insulting chants towards what they see as ‘fair-weather’ fans in the other areas of the Juventus Stadium.

The bulk of the crowd reacted with jeers and insults of their own to create a very strange atmosphere.

It is not entirely a new experience, especially as it’s reported last week there was no choreography in the Curva Sud ahead of the Derby della Capitale because Roma ultras were having a fist-fight between themselves.

Some wanted to go ahead with the choreography, while others resisted in protest at the theme being leaked to the media beforehand.
