Serie B side Foggia are in shock after explosive devices were used to intimidate players Pietro Iemmello, Massimo Busellato and patron Franco Sannella.
The timing of the incidents suggests it was an act of intimidation from the ultras following Saturday’s local derby defeat to Lecce, which saw them slide into the relegation zone.
Club patrons Fedele and Franco Sannella own the Tamma pasta factory, which had windows blown out by an improvised explosive device detonated outside last night.
Also overnight, forward Iemmello (formerly of Sassuolo) found his car had been set alight.

Busellato, who was sent off during the derby with Lecce, also visited police to confirm a firework or small explosive device was thrown into his garden.
