Milan Skriniar believes Inter will show their ‘character’ against Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday.
Inter left Frankfurt with a goalless draw last week, despite some tipping the Nerazzurri to be beaten in Germany, and Skriniar hopes his side can build on that result.
“We expect a difficult game like the first leg,” the defender said at a Press conference.
“We need to be focused and not concede any goals. We’ll show our character.
“In Frankfurt we had a good first half and had chances to score. We need the same attitude, being strong and aggressive.”
Injury problems could see the Slovak in midfield against Eintracht…
“I’ve played there in the national team and I’m ready for it,” he continued.
“Haller’s very strong, physically and technically. He jumps very well for headers. They’re very good at set-pieces.
“I haven’t managed to score yet, but I know my goals can help the team so I’ll keep trying.”
