Jorginho has come in for the brunt of supporter criticism at Chelsea, given the Brazil-born performer followed Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge from Napoli last summer and is considered the embodiment of the Coach’s playing style.

However, Sky Sports quoted Willian as saying at a Press conference: “I think this is unfair from [the fans] and, of course, I don’t want to talk about this.

“When they do that, I don’t feel good on the pitch. When players are not in a good moment and don’t play well, we need [the] fans.

“Jorginho is very important for us, a very good player. We know his quality.”
