Patrice Evra has posted a screenshot of his conversation with Cristiano Ronaldo, in which the forward said Juventus would ‘smash’ Atletico Madrid.
Ronaldo’s hat-trick allowed Juve to come back against Atleti on Tuesday and reach the Champions League quarter-finals, and Evra suggested the Portuguese had the result in his sights five days before.
“Behind the scenes… these are messages between me and Cristiano five days before the massive comeback!!!” wrote the former Bianconeri and Manchester United left-back on Instagram.
