Antonio Cassano claims Inter must stick with Coach Luciano Spalletti and that Roma sacking Eusebio Di Francesco was a ‘scandal’.

Cassano was asked about the fortunes of his two former clubs on Tiki Taka last night after Spalletti’s Inter beat Milan 3-2 in the Derby della Madonnina and Roma reverted to losing ways against SPAL, just two weeks into Di Francesco’s departure.

“I don’t agree with those who say Spalletti should be replaced at the end of the season,” replied the 36-year-old.

“I don’t agree with those who say Spalletti should be replaced at the end of the season,” replied the 36-year-old.

“Spalletti is a loyal, honest and direct person, who doesn’t beat around the bush. Rather, he sticks up for himself and has balls. He’s done well too. I think he’s doing a great job at Inter.

“Roma sacking Di Francesco was a scandal. Until six months ago he was a God for them, but now he and Monchi have been driven out.

“The problem is that Americans aren’t there and Baldini does what he likes in London.”
