Inter striker Mauro Icardi declared Milan was ‘only black and blue’ after his side’s Derby della Madonnina victory on Sunday.

Icardi did not take part at San Siro as he continues to receive treatment for an alleged knee injury, but the Argentine could not resist taking a swipe at his arch-rivals following the Nerazzurri’s 3-2 win.

“Milan is only black and blue,” read the 26-year-old’s post on Instagram, which saw Milan Cathedral draped in the Beneamata’s colours.

Despite his taunt, the No 9 has not played any football since being stripped of the Inter captaincy on February 13.
