Federico Chiesa pulled out of training with the Italy squad this afternoon, suffering from a muscular problem, and could be at risk against Finland.
The Azzurri are due to begin their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with Finland on Saturday evening.
Chiesa was expected to be in the starting XI, but interrupted today’s session early after feeling a twinge in his left thigh.
It’s believed to be more or less the same area that had already caused him problems during Fiorentina’s game with Lazio.
He walked away with the Nazionale medic for tests.
