Inter striker Mauro Icardi has resumed training with the club after six weeks in the wilderness. 

ANSA reports Icardi trained with his Inter teammates at Appiano Gentile for the first time since February 13.

The agency adds Nerazzurri executives were also in attendance, among them general manager Beppe Marotta.

The Argentine has not played since being stripped of the Beneamata captaincy midway through last month, although he had allegedly been nursing a knee injury.

Nonetheless, the 26-year-old has stopped receiving treatment and could be called up for Inter’s next Serie A game against Lazio on March 31.
