Napoli are eager to battle Inter for the signature of Udinese and Argentina winger Rodrigo De Paul, who is valued at €35m.
The 24-year-old has long been linked with a move to Inter, but the Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport both suggest Napoli are diving in with their own offer.
Udinese are asking for €35m, as he has contributed seven goals and four assists in 26 Serie A appearances this season.
His performances also earned him three caps for Argentina, where he can play on the left wing, behind the striker or even in midfield.
According to the two Italian papers, Inter have approached the player and his agent, whereas Napoli are trying to focus on their strong rapport with Udinese.
The Nerazzurri would also try to offer a player in part-exchange, while the Partenopei could pay the full cash sum.
