Stephan El Shaarawy has left the Italy training camp with a calf injury, so will miss Tuesday’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Liechtenstein.
The Azzurri started their campaign with last night’s 2-0 victory over Finland in Udine.
El Shaarawy did not feature, but was expected to play in the next qualifier at Parma’s Stadio Tardini.
The Roma man has already left the training camp and returned to the Capital for tests.
It is yet another muscular injury to the Azzurri and the second for Roma, as Alessandro Florenzi has been ruled out for three weeks with a calf strain.
Federico Chiesa also left the camp, while Lorenzo Insigne was injured before the call-ups were announced.
