Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero admits he’d love to take over his beloved Roma “as soon as James Pallotta gets his pension.”
The movie producer is from the Capital and a lifelong Giallorossi supporter.
He had been linked with the takeover of Roma, but eventually purchased Sampdoria in 2014.
As a guest on Domenica In this afternoon, Ferrero was asked if he’d be interested in taking over Roma.
“As soon as Pallotta decides to get his pension, I am ready… Hey Pallotta, let’s give the Lupi of Roma what they deserve!”
Ferrero has repeatedly denied reports he is on the verge of selling Sampdoria to American investors, spearheaded by former Blucerchiati star Gianluca Vialli.
