Inter reportedly won’t stand in his way if Joao Miranda wants to leave this summer, with Monaco and Benfica interested.

The Brazil international centre-back has dropped down the pecking order behind Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar, so wants a new experience to get more playing time.

However, it’s suggested he turned down moves to China and the UAE in January, as he’d still like one or two more seasons in Europe.

According to FCInterNews, Miranda’s agent is evaluating the proposals and leaning towards Monaco or Benfica.

His contract runs to June 2020 and the €3.5m per year salary is something of a weight on the Inter books.

This all means that the Nerazzurri could release the 34-year-old for free or for a minimal sum.
