Milan have reportedly decided to pay the €35m necessary to turn Tiemoue Bakayoko’s loan from Chelsea permanent this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bakayoko has ‘succeeded’ in winning over Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso.
Consequently there is an ‘increasing’ expectation of the deal going through, although it could be funded by the possible sale of Franck Kessie.
The newspaper writes Gattuso will meet Kessie on Thursday for ‘face-to-face’ talks, where the Ivorian is likely to be handed a ‘heavier’ fine than Lucas Biglia after their Derby della Madonnina spat.
That would be because the Rossoneri are ‘angrier’ with the former Atalanta man than Biglia, with La Gazzetta essentially corroborating Tuttomercatoweb’s report from last week.
