“The goals will come, the important thing right now is to play well,” the Coach told Rai Sport.

“We have always created a lot of scoring opportunities, so sooner or later the situations will change and we’ll get the ball in the back of the net.

“We’ve got the players, we have the talent who have always scored goals, so I wouldn’t be particularly worried. If anything, we just have to focus on being more precise so we can increase our goals per chance average.”

Today Italy secured their qualification for the Under-17 and Under-19 European Championships, while the Azzurrini are hosting the Under-21 tournament.

“It’s auspicious, we are happy and congratulate them for all the hard work. We hope it bodes well for us too.”

Mancini rings the changes against Liechtenstein, keeping faith with Moise Kean after his goal against Finland, but bringing in Fabio Quagliarella and Matteo Politano.

“Tonight it might seem simple on paper, but it’s still worth the same three points that really make a difference at the end of the day, so we have to win and earn the victory.

“Kean is fortunately so young that he doesn’t really feel the pressure of a high-profile match. Quagliarella deserved this call, because he is the Capocannoniere in Serie A this season.

“We expect pace, quality and dribbling from Politano, as he can become devastating in one-on-one situations.”
