Edin Dzeko has reportedly apologised to his Roma teammates after being fined for his row with Stephan El Shaarawy.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Dzeko shook El Shaarawy’s hand in front of the squad during training on Thursday.

“I was wrong! Now we’re all together, we can still go up the table,” he is quoted as saying by the newspaper.

The forwards allegedly came close to blows in the dressing room during the Giallorossi’s 2-1 defeat to SPAL before the international break.

However, the Giallorossi would have been angrier with the Bosnian for instigating the feud, fining only him and not the winger ahead of Sunday’s Serie A clash with Napoli.

Meanwhile, reports claim Inter are continuing to monitor the 33-year-old, whereas West Ham United have already offered €10m – half of what Roma are asking for.
