There were reports this morning that Insigne could be out for two to three weeks if tests showed a muscular lesion, as he pulled up again in training on Friday after already leaving international duty.

“Insigne had the tests this morning and it was just a small setback,” said Ancelotti in his Press conference.

“There are no particular lesions, only a slight adductor issue. The problem he had last time was in the tendon area, so this is far less serious and he should be OK within two or three days.

“We’ll see whether or not to use him against Empoli, but he is not at risk against Arsenal.”

Piotr Zielinski is suspended against Roma, with Raul Albiol, David Ospina, Vlad Chiriches, Amadou Diawara and Faouzi Ghoulam injured.

Napoli squad for Roma: Meret, Karnezis, D'Andrea, Malcuit, Koulibaly, Luperto, Maksimovic, Mario Rui, Hysaj, Allan, Fabian Ruiz, Younes, Verdi, Callejon, Ounas, Mertens, Milik, Gaetano
