Mario Balotelli closed on a 50-year record for Olympique Marseille by scoring in his first five Ligue 1 home games.
The Italy international has found the net in each of his opening five Ligue 1 fixtures played at the Stade Velodrome.
The 28-year-old bagged an early brace this evening against Angers.
Balo already felt rather at home with OGC Nice and has gone from strength to strength since joining their French rivals Marseille in January.
Before Balotelli’s remarkable feat, the last player to score in his first five Ligue 1 home matches was Josip Skoblar between 1967 and 1969.
He’ll have a big task to match Skoblar’s record of nine in a row, though.
