Empoli Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli hinted predecessor Beppe Iachini’s training methods were behind the defeat to Juventus.

The Tuscans dominated the first half, but didn’t take their chances and were eventually beaten by a Moise Kean strike.

“Creating so many scoring opportunities against Juve means we are in good shape, but once again we fell away in the second half,” Andreazzoli told Sky Sport Italia.

“We knew what we were doing and took the initiative, so I am happy with that side of the game. We would’ve liked the points, but will take the compliments.

“I saw us run out of steam against Frosinone too and I would have some thoughts on that, but I have to focus on what I as a Coach can change in this situation.

“I arrived and let’s say the drawers had been turned upside down and everything was in the wrong order. I am trying to get things neatened up again and it’ll take a little time.

“My fitness coaches also have work to do and they’ll do it. The squad is technically stronger since I left, but is more rational and lacks some healthy element of madness.”
