“I will change a few things, I’m not sure yet if Rodrigo Palacio will start or someone else,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

Destro came off the bench to score the winner against Sassuolo in stoppages on Sunday, but he celebrated so wildly that he picked up an injury.

“He’s unlucky and it was a pretty comical situation. His problem is consistency, as every time he recovers and plays well, he gets another injury. Perhaps in the past he never trained the way he should’ve done.

“I’ll use the best available line-up for the game, but also certainly some squad rotation. Diego Falcinelli could start, I might rest Danilo and Palacio, but I am sure that whoever plays will ensure their teammate is not badly missed.”

Bologna’s victory over Sassuolo allowed them to leapfrog Empoli and clamber out of the relegation zone.

“We know the situation could change, so we must continue giving our all in every game. Atalanta are a strong opponent who play with intensity, a bit like Torino, but with more quality.”
