Fiorentina do not seem intent on purchasing Edimilson Fernades outright from West Ham, but Olympique Lyonnais are interested.
The midfielder arrived on loan for with an option to buy at the end of the season for €8m.
By most accounts, the Viola are not convinced they want to spend that sum to make the Swiss international’s move permanent.
He is likely to head back to West Ham, but probably won’t be there for long, as le10sport.com claim Lyon are keeping a close eye on the situation.
It would have to be an outright purchase or see him extend his West Ham contract first, as it expires in June 2020.
Edimilson has made 27 competitive appearances for Fiorentina, scoring two goals, providing two assists and picking up seven yellow cards with one red.
