“I don’t think it’s a burden to be considered the form team in Serie A, but you can tell we are in good shape,” Papu told Inter TV.

“In the last six or seven games, our only bad performance was against Chievo. We must continue like this and aim high.”

As Milan lost to Juventus last night, Atalanta are only one point behind the fourth and final Champions League berth, so today could either catch or overtake the Rossoneri.

“Our objective is to get into the Europa League, but clearly when we are this close to the Champions League places, it’s worth a quick glance over the table.

“There’s a long way to go yet. If we get three points today, those would help us really close up on Inter. Here’s hoping.”
