Roma are already sponsored by Qatar Airways, and it had been reported that the club were open to investment from the gulf state.

However, Pallotta responded on Twitter: “Siri, show me fake news.”

The American has owned the Giallorossi since 2012, but he has been accused of regularly selling the club’s best players.
