Alexandre Lacazette has urged Arsenal not to be fooled by Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday. “They’re not a typical Italian team.”

Arsenal host Napoli in the first leg of their quarter-final on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Everton in the Premier League, but Lacazette made it clear the Gunners were going for European glory.

“The Azzurri are a very strong, tactical team, but they’re not a typical Italian team as they have great technical qualities too,” the striker said at a Press conference.

“Last season we failed to make it to the Final but his season we want to go all the way.

“We know we are better at home than away, it’s really important for us. We know as well, that we can do a good result away.

Arsenal’s away form has been patchy, winning just nine of their 21 away games in all competitions this season.

The Frenchman was then asked about his partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil, who appeared to throw his coat at Coach Unai Emery out of frustration last weekend after he was subbed off.

“Auba is a good player, we play well together. I like to play with all my players,” he added.

“[Ozil’s] a leader. sometimes you do something you shouldn’t do. Sunday we all played bad. We didn’t do what the Coach asked us to do.

“At home, we have our fans, so we play more confident. Some days you don’t play as you want. That’s it.”
