Daniele De Rossi’s season could be over as the Roma midifelder reportedly faces at least three weeks out.
De Rossi left Roma’s 1-0 win against Udinese on Saturday midway through the second half, and Tuttomercatoweb writes he injured his right thigh.
Although he would not have torn any muscles, the website warns he will need ‘at least three weeks’ to recover if a problem is detected, with tests to take place on Monday.
Corriere dello Sport adds the setback will not affect talks over a new contract for the 35-year-old, which are scheduled for June.
