Giorgio Chiellini is expected to miss Juventus’ Champions League quarter-final against Ajax after failing to train on Monday.
Chiellini joined Mattia Perin and Martin Caceres in missing ttraining, with Sport Mediaset reporting the defender still has not recovered from his calf problem.
The injury ruled the 34-year-old out of the first leg, which finished 1-1, but Rodrigo Bentancur, Daniele Rugani, Douglas Costa, Sami Khedira, Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic all worked out.
Andrea Barzagli was present at Continassa but trained separately from the first team, so Rugani is set to be handed another start alongside Leonardo Bonucci in central defence.
The second leg of the tie takes place on Tuesday evening.
