The FIGC’s prosecutor has reportedly opened an investigation into Milan pair Franck Kessie and Tiemoue Bakayoko for their conduct against Lazio.

The case appeared to be closed after the FIGC’s sporting judiciary chose not to ban the pair for parading Francesco Acerbi’s shirt after Milan’s 1-0 victory over Lazio or review the footage retrospectively.

However, ANSA has since reported that FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Pecoraro ‘immediately’ launched a probe into the incident once he had learned of the verdict.

Federcalcio President Gabriele Gravina called for Kessie and Bakayoko to be punished on Monday, accusing them of behaving ‘disrespectfully’.
