Ajax have set a new record as the first club ever to beat both Real Madrid and Juventus on their own turf in the same European season.

The Dutch giants secured a 4-1 victory at the Bernabeu to eliminate the reigning Champions League holders in the Round of 16, having lost 2-1 at home.

After a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam for the first leg of their quarter-final, Ajax won 2-1 at the Juventus Stadium.

This was their third consecutive Champions League away victory, the best run since seven between November 1995 and March 1997.

However, Juve have now lost three of their last six Champions League home games.
