Genoa’s general manager has given Coach Cesare Prandelli a vote of confidence but warned that there can be ‘no more mistakes’.
Three defeats in four games – among them a 2-0 loss to city rivals Sampdoria – and only one win in eight have left Prandelli’s Genoa down in 15th, just five points clear of the Serie A relegation zone.
“I had a meeting with President Preziosi and we decided to give our full support to the Coach,” Giorgio Perinetti told Il Secolo XIX.
