Juventus have reportedly held preliminary talks with Antonio Conte over a second spell at the helm.

According to Sky Sports, Juve are considering Conte if they decide to part with Max Allegri this summer.

However, the broadcaster stresses the negotiations ‘were simply to sound out his availability’.

The 49-year-old is thought to be keen on a return to Italy and has also been linked with Inter, Milan and Roma.

He led the Bianconeri to three straight Scudetti before leaving in 2014 and made over 400 appearances for them as a player, winning five League titles and a Champions League.

It comes after the Old Lady exited the Champions League to Ajax on Tuesday, although Allegri and club President Andrea Agnelli have since affirmed that they will continue together.
