Roma striker Edin Dzeko has reportedly rejected the chance to join West Ham United as he wants to stay in Italy, amidst interest from Inter.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Dzeko said ‘no’ to West Ham after they showed an interest in him.

That is because, the newspaper writes, the 33-year-old would prefer to remain in Italy.

The Bosnian has only a year left to run on his Roma contract but is not expected to be offered an extension due to his age.
