Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara and could be open to the idea of a player exchange with Kieran Trippier.
According to Tuttosport, Spurs Coach Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of the 21-year-old and has been interested in making a move for the Guinean for some time now.
Diawara is currently out injured, but has struggled for game time this season under Coach Carlo Ancelotti, making just 19 appearances for the Partenopei.
Napoli value the midfielder at €40m, but that price tag will drop if the former Bologna man rarely sees the field and sporting director Cristiano Guintoli is working hard to find a buyer at that fee.
The London club could be willing to listen to plans for a player exchange between Diawara and right-back Kieran Trippier, whom they value at €35m.
The 28-year-old England international has played 33 times this season and is expected to start in the Champions League semi-finals against Ajax.
Manchester United are also rumoured to be interested in the former Manchester City youth product.
