Serie A: Race for top four

The race for the top four is hitting the final straight with six clubs fighting it out for two spots, as five games remain and nine points separate third-placed Inter from Lazio in eighth.

Milan face Torino next weekend in the first of three direct clashes between the sides battling it out for Champions League positions and with such a tight battle at the top, the head-to-head record will be used to separate any teams level on points.

Inter Fixtures: Juventus (H), Udinese (A), Chievo (H), Napoli (A), Empoli (H)

The Nerazzurri have the better of the H2H against Milan, Roma, and Lazio as they won both derbies, won both ties with Lazio and beat the Giallorossi on goal difference after two draws.

Milan Fixtures: Torino (A), Bologna (H), Fiorentina (A), Frosinone (H), SPAL (A)

The Rossoneri lead Roma, Lazio, and Atalanta in the H2H deciders. Their record with the Giallorossi was a 2-1 win and a 1-1 draw, and they had matching results with the Biancocelesti. A 3-1 win in Bergamo set them up before a 1-1 draw between the sides at San Siro.

The Biancocelesti only lead city rivals Roma in the H2H, as they won the last derby 3-0, while the first one of the season ended 3-1 to the Giallorossi.
