There are growing reports Milan are considering Gennaro Gattuso’s status as Coach and could make a change after the defeat to Torino.

This evening’s 2-0 loss in Turin means the Rossoneri picked up only five points in the last seven Serie A rounds.

They crashed out of the Coppa Italia midweek to Lazio and slipped from fourth place down to sixth in Serie A, which will be seventh tomorrow if Atalanta get a result against Udinese.

Sky Sport Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and MilanNews.it are all reporting this evening that the club is giving serious thought to dismissing Gattuso.

There are only four rounds left in the Serie A season and as things stand, Milan risk not qualifying for Europe at all.

It’s reported directors Ivan Gazidis, Leonardo and Paolo Maldini were still locked in a meeting over 90 minutes after the final whistle, some of it spent with Gattuso.

It is also suggested Milan will not cancel the planned day off for the squad on Monday, which again points to a possible change of management.
