It is reported Leonardo could lose his job as Milan’s sporting director if they do not qualify for Europe next season.
According to Corriere della Sera, Gennaro Gattuso is not the only high-profile figure leaving Milan this summer as Leonardo could follow him out of the exit door.
The Brazilian returned to San Siro last year, completing a new-look board with Paolo Maldini, Paolo Scaroni and Ivan Gazidis.

According to Corriere della Sera, Gennaro Gattuso is not the only high-profile figure leaving Milan this summer as Leonardo could follow him out of the exit door.

However, the newspaper writes that his sanctioning of deals for the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Samu Castillejo, Diego Laxalt and Mattia Caldara will need to be answered for.
Meanwhile, he would have already turned down the role of caretaker Coach for Milan’s final four games of the season.
A run of just one win from eight games has seen the Diavolo leave the Coppa Italia and fall out of the Champions League places in Serie A.
