Mattia Caldara’s season is reportedly over after the Milan defender suffered a suspected knee injury in training.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta dello Sport, Caldara left training in crutches on Thursday.

The defender will now undergo tests, where he is expected to learn that he cannot take part in any of Milan’s four remaining Serie A games.

The 24-year-old only joined the Rossoneri from Juventus last summer but has played just twice this season due to an Achilles setback.
