Giorgio Chiellini saw “heart and soul” from Juventus to grab an equaliser with Torino, while comparing Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi to Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal.
Sasa Lukic had opened the scoring, but Cristiano Ronaldo’s towering header in the final minutes sealed a 1-1 result.
“This team has such heart and soul, as proved over the last two games. We played better than last Saturday, but ultimately we want to prove we are the best, that we deserved this Scudetto and can already start building up to next season,” Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia.
“We don’t go on vacation anywhere and, although we are perhaps missing something without the pressure for three points, we still showed determination and strength.
“Torino lost only one away match in 2019 and are still furious about it, so we knew they were going to be tough. They played with great determination and quality, so we did well to get this draw and in the end I feel it was the right result.”
Ronaldo took his career tally to 601 club goals, as the long-distance duel with Messi continues.
“We are fortunate to be living in an age where we can experience both Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi. They are both world class, like Federer and Nadal, one seems better and then the other replies.”
